If you have any questions, or need some advice on which service would be best for you, then just give us a call. Don't worry if you had a mixture of self-employed and PAYE (employed) jobs, or if you no longer work for the company you did the travelling for. Just get in touch and we'll let you know what we need for each year.
When you claim your tax rebate with RIFT, our unique RIFT Guarantee means that you don't have to worry about the taxman reclaiming any of your money. So long as you give us full and accurate information, if HMRC disagrees with the amount that we’ve claimed and ask for the money back, we’ll pay it. It won’t cost you a penny.
It’s our job to apply HMRC's rules to the information you give us, to see if you’re due a tax rebate. We’ll tell you exactly what information we need, and we’ll do all we can to help you get your money.
We’ll act as your agent with HMRC, so you never have to phone them or reply to their letters yourself. After you’ve had your refund, you can call us any time with questions about your tax. Keep in touch and we’ll keep you on the right side of the taxman, completely free of charge.
Once you’ve given us all the information we need, we’ll work out how much money you’re owed. We’ll prepare all the paperwork. All you have to do is check it and sign it. We’ll send it off to HMRC and chase them up if they don’t pay out promptly.
Before we send your claim to HMRC we send a copy to you with a full breakdown of all the fees so you can clearly see:
You will need to accept this by email or in MyRIFT to say that you have read, understood and agreed with it, along with a declaration that all the information you have provided about your claim is true. This means you will never be charged any fees you have not agreed to.
There are no further fees to pay, and no hidden charges.
