Meaning of Certain Words

In these terms:
We use the words “RIFT”, “we”, “us” and “our” when referring to RIFT Tax Refunds, a trading name of RIFT Ltd. We’re a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company number: 04088211). Our registered office is The Cobalt Building, 1600 Eureka Park, Upper Pemberton, Ashford, Kent, TN25 4BF.

1. Eligibility for Participation

1.1. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
1.2. You must have a valid RIFT Tax Refunds account, as payment of the incentive will be made directly to the bank account connected to your RIFT account.
1.3. Participants must not be employees of RIFT Tax Refunds or engaged with the company under any contractual agreement.

2. Incentive Payment

2.1. Participants who successfully complete the filming session will receive a £100 payment via bank transfer to the bank account associated with their RIFT Tax Refunds account.
2.2. The £100 payment will be processed within 14 business days after the filming session is completed.

3. Travel Expense Reimbursement

3.1. Participants will be reimbursed for travel expenses up to a maximum of £50.
3.2. Reimbursement is subject to providing a dated and timed official receipt as proof of travel expenses.
3.3. Acceptable proof of travel expenses includes but is not limited to: train tickets, bus receipts, fuel receipts (for car travel), or taxi invoices.
3.4. Expenses exceeding £50 will not be reimbursed.

4. Third-Party Production Agency

4.1. RIFT Tax Refunds is working with Voxpop International, a third-party production agency, to organise and film the voxpop testimonials.
4.2. By submitting your interest, you give permission for RIFT Tax Refunds to share your contact details (name, email, and phone number) with Voxpop International solely for the purpose of arranging your participation in the filming session.
4.3 If you are selected you will be contacted via email or call by Voxpop International, if you have not received communications by the 17th February you have not been selected this time around.
4.4. Voxpop International will delete all your personal data on or before 1st April 2025, in compliance with GDPR regulations.

5. Use of Testimonials

5.1. By participating in the voxpop testimonial filming, you agree to grant RIFT Tax Refunds the right to use your testimonial footage in any marketing, advertising, or promotional material across all media channels, without further compensation or approval.

6. Data Protection

6.1. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with GDPR and the RIFT Tax Refunds Privacy Policy.
6.2. RIFT Tax Refunds will only share your data with Voxpop International for the purposes of organising and filming the voxpop testimonials.

7. General Conditions

7.1. Submission of interest does not guarantee selection for participation.
7.2. RIFT Tax Refunds reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer at any time without prior notice.
7.3. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
